**Overview** **Job Summary Details:** The Waste Sorter provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area within a stadium. **Pay Rate:** $18.87/hour **Schedule:** Part Time After Events and will vary based on the events. **Location:** S. Figueroa St The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members ( | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Basic Qualifications:** - Must be 18 years of age or older - No experience required and on the job training provided - No high school diploma, GED or college degree required **Preferred Qualifications:** - Customer service experience - 1 year of similar work experience **Responsibilities:** - Dispose of all waste in line with recycling policy - Clean and maintain buildings/facilities - Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures - Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems - Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. - Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities - Gather and empty trash - Ensure the stadium and surrounding areas are always event ready. - Must be able to work in varied weather types. - Must be able to work at high elevations. - Report any general maintenance issues or damages to line manager immediately. - Establishes and maintains effective Commnication and working relations with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers etc. - Attention to time management is crucial to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed promptly before, and after events. - Waste Sorter must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
