ASCENDtials is a non-profit organization that assists the BIPOC community in dismantling institutionalized Isms within the U.S. workforce by offering workshops that empower them. We focus on building cosmic consciousness through experiential learning programs, healing sessions, workshops, and environmental initiatives to advocate for humanity and the environment.

The Social Media/Digital Media Marketing Assistant will support the administration, coordination, and evaluation of outreach and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate will enhance our brand engagement and increase revenue using social media tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, and Mailchimp.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars for social media promotion
2. Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases
3. Track social media engagement to identify high-performing campaigns for scalability
4. Support marketing team at live and online events
5. Commitment of 8-10 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion; ability to work in diverse groups
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Buffer, and social media best practices
