In this impactful per-diem role, you’ll provide day-to-day support to individuals living in transitional housing—ensuring safe, respectful living conditions while helping residents connect with the resources they need to build greater stability and independence. Schedule: Per-diem, flexible schedule could include nights and weekends (NOTE: Shift differential available for some shifts) Engages directly with individuals seeking residential housing services, fostering a supportive community atmosphere and treating all humans with kindness, dignity, and respect. Is a good steward of confidentiality and discretion. Collects, completes, processes, and files all applicable intake documents for tenants, maintaining a thorough understanding of all necessary documentation. Assists tenants with reasonable requests and connects them to services and resources as appropriate. Provides consistent oversight of tenants, addressing behavioral and/or safety concerns in alignment with policies. Responds to and manages crisis situations with established protocols, prioritizing tenant safety and well-being. Performs basic housekeeping and additional support functions, including but not limited to: Preparing rooms for new tenants Ensuring shared spaces are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. Distributing meals to tenants, ensuring timely service and equitable access. Collaborates to ensure services are mission-focused. Continuously looks to seek improvement and implement best practices.
