Job Description

The Technical Writer is responsible for writing and editing technical documentation, training materials, and deliverables for both internal and external customers. Duties include:

  1. Collaborating with subject matter experts to document processes related to Organizational Transformation and Leadership Development.
  2. Coordinating graphic displays and document production.
  3. Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining various technical documents such as Meeting Minutes, Project Schedules, System Design Documents, Testing Plans, Implementation Plans, and Training materials.
  4. Designing layouts for publication.
  5. Analyzing field developments to update or create new materials.
  6. Creating sketches to illustrate materials or assembly sequences.
  7. Working directly with Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, and Project Managers.

Must be US and Clearable.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree required

Skills:

  • Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments.
  • Proven technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Self-organized, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 6 years' experience as a Technical Writer.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range is $27-60/hr, based on skills, experience, and organizational needs. Salary figures are guidelines and may vary.

Work Environment:

Primary location is Las Vegas, Nevada. Remote work is permitted but not guaranteed. Travel expenses are not reimbursed for non-local candidates.
