Position: Tax CPA

Location: Fayetteville, AR Hybrid/Remote

Comp: $70-90K

SBCS is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax CPA to join our clients team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Tax CPA will be responsible for providing a wide range of tax services to our clients, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for helping businesses succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities

- Conduct tax research and provide recommendations to clients on tax planning strategies

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any tax-related concerns

- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate these changes to clients

- Identify and resolve tax issues and discrepancies for clients

- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement tax strategies and solutions for clients

- Assist with tax audits and other tax-related inquiries from government agencies

- Train and mentor junior staff members on tax laws, regulations, and best practices

- Participate in business development activities, including networking and client presentations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- CPA license required

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning

- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Exceptional communication and client service skills

- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
