SEO Specialist

We’re seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to join our marketing team and help increase organic website traffic, improve search engine rankings, and drive qualified leads for our industrial automation solutions. As a key member of our marketing team, you’ll drive technical SEO, on-page optimization, and keyword-driven content development to elevate maplesystems.com in search engine results.

You will play a central role in enhancing our visibility across Google and other search engines through keyword research, technical audits, content gap analysis, and ranking factor improvements. The ideal candidate brings not only a deep understanding of traditional SEO best practices but also has an eye toward how AI and evolving search technologies are reshaping search behavior and content strategy. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SEO strategies that drive organic growth and improve domain authority
  • Perform regular technical SEO audits to optimize crawlability, indexing, mobile usability, site speed, and Core Web Vitals
  • Conduct detailed keyword research, competitor analysis, and content audits to identify ranking opportunities
  • Collaborate with in-house content creators to develop high-performing SEO content, blog articles, videos, and landing pages aligned with user intent and search opportunities
  • Monitor and optimize on-page SEO elements (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, schema markup, internal linking)
  • Support and improve content strategy using analytics to guide decisions on content gaps, topic clusters, and pillar content
  • Leverage SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, and GA4 to monitor performance, track KPIs, and identify technical issues
  • Work closely with sales and technical resource teams to uncover customer needs, pain points, and industry trends to align content with
  • Report regularly on SEO performance metrics, including keyword rankings, organic sessions, backlinks, and conversion rates
  • Assist in optimizing PPC landing pages, email campaigns for improved conversion and SEO value
  • Stay up to date with algorithm changes, emerging SEO trends, and industry updates

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in SEO – from tactical execution to strategy
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and Google’s E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles
  • Ability to manage both technical and content-driven SEO efforts
  • Solid grasp of HTML/CSS basics, structured data, and website architecture as it relates to SEO
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, developers, and marketing
  • Detail-oriented with a data-first mindset
  • Knowledge of industrial automation is a bonus
