Production Designer

Location : Remote

Duration : through 2025

Pay : ~$62.50/hr, DOE

 

The Planet Group is looking for a  Production Designer   to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a contract through the rest of 2025. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule.

As a Production Designer , you’ll create design elements, refine and iterate on existing designs, and maintain design systems content for our global creative team. You’ll collaborate with an extraordinary core brand team to design and ensure build out of an updated design system for Pinterest core brand. You’ll be responsible for continued system contribution, documentation, maintenance, all with an eye for detail with speed and efficiency.

Production Designer Responsibilities

\t
• Partner closely with other designers to produce content for marketing, events and other collateral 

\t
• Work to reformat and scale design assets while identifying opportunities for templates and resources

\t
• Maintain our Figma libraries and design systems while ensuring alignment with existing product and web designs systems across the company

\t
• Create and maintain scaled product UI design elements for use in marketing materials with extensive knowledge of all aspect ratios (not just 16:9 but also iOS, Android, Social Platforms, etc.)

• Help build, organize, and maintain the team’s digital asset library, including product UI

\t
• May also do: Light photo retouching, resizing and localization of assets.

Production Designer Qualifications

\t
• Working knowledge of, or eagerness to learn, the creative requirements of various marketing communications media (i.e., on and off-line advertising, social media, video, etc.) 

\t
• Identify opportunities for process, file format, task management and technical improvements 

\t
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud 

\t
• Self-motivated, solution-driven builder with a strong leadership mindset

\t
• Resourceful, adaptable, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude
