Location:Cleveland, OH, Austin, TX, Charlotte, NC, Dallas TX, and Denver CO Job Type:Contract To Hire Overview: Apex Systems is looking for a .NET Developer to support a project involving larger retirement plans. The client is looking for a faster resolution time and they have a desire to build more modern applications to replace the legacy ones. If you are looking for a new role with an established Financial Services company, feel free to apply. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain back office applications using .NET technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer. FamiliaritywiththeASP.NET framework,SQLServer,anddesign/architecturalpatterns(e.g.,Model-View-Controller(MVC)). Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile development methodologies.
