• Responsibility Ensure delivery quality and schedule and co-ordinate supplier and customer, Control project cost & ensure smooth flow of part to mfg / assembly lines. Mentor and guide team to achieve error free process planning and execution
• Project management includes costing, resource plan and mitigation plan.

Job Description

• To execute General Assembly Engineering projects of Global OEMs & Tier1s.
• Manage large project teams involving process planning (Pre-engineering), fixture conceptual designs & human simulation and deliver complete solution.
• Technical RFQ preparation.
• Design and line manufacturing supplier evaluation and selection.
• Technically guide & provide global design and manufacturing plan for implementation.
• Project scoping, estimation and proposal engineering.
• Lead Assembly engineers & project status reviews with customer.
• Adhere to customer quality management standards.
• Line balancing
• Selection and recommendation of MHE’s (Conveyors, transfer system, etc)

Skills

• Assembly Process Planning
• Knowledge of Manual, semi-automatic and Robotic assembly process
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Process, Layout, Make Vs Buy, Assembly Sequence & Virtual Build etc.
• Knowledge of Techno-Commercial RFQ
• Knowledge of Assembly equipment and its suppliers
• Knowledge of Various Automotive Standards (VW / Audi / Peugeot / TML / Chrysler / Daimler)
• Executed projects of GENERAL ASSEMBLY process for manual, fully robotic and semi-automatic line.
• Executed BIW, TCF and End of Line projects with automotive OEM
• Worked with Automotive OEM for Assembly process planning
• Commercial acumen
• Task oriented
• Knowledge of Simulation standards
