Job Description

A K-12 educational setting in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional for a full semester contract. This role provides critical support to classroom teachers by assisting with instructional activities, student supervision, and helping to create a positive learning environment for diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and instructional support
• Work directly with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Support classroom management and maintain a safe, orderly setting
• Help with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) as needed
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
• Assist with classroom organization and material preparation
• Foster positive communication with students, staff, and families

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in educational or similar settings
• Knowledge of K-12 curriculum and instructional methods is beneficial
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to support students with diverse learning needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
