Volt is immediately hiring for HR & Payroll Generalist Part Time
in Santa Barbara, CA. As a
HR & Payroll Generalist Part Time you will:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) – Required
- Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time using Paychex Flex (experience preferred, but not required)
- Assist with onboarding of new employees, including paperwork, orientations, and training coordination
- Answer employee questions related to benefits, insurance, payroll, and company policies
- Help maintain up-to-date and compliant employee records
- Support with performance documentation and employee status changes
This is a
part time 1st Shift opportunity | 15 - 20 hours per week (flexible)
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1–2 years of HR, payroll, or administrative experience preferred
- Familiarity with Paychex Flex is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable speaking with employees
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to grow with the role as hours and responsibilities expand
- Work is onsite and specific schedule TBD based on needs
Pay Rate: $25.00 - 29.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
