About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Information Risk, a pivotal role in the organization. They must be adept at communicating security issues in business terms, and at educating stakeholders on security and cybersecurity matters. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should hold a Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree, or have relevant work experience. Senior management experience in building, managing, or leading a risk department is essential. The role requires the ability to read and interpret regulations, make strategic decisions, and have a comprehensive understanding of financial products, services, operations, and systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team, analyzing and evaluating risks, and influencing change. They should be adept at identifying and influencing transformational opportunities, and be well-versed in the latest financial, technology, and banking product innovations and regulations. The position demands a leader who can operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and who is capable of maintaining a strong external network and market presence. Strong talent management skills are also a key requirement.
