Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Violence Coordinator to lead and oversee all aspects of our Domestic Violence Intervention Program. This role includes facilitating weekly groups, providing individual therapy as needed, conducting intakes and assessments, and managing program operations. The ideal candidate is experienced in working with offender populations, trauma-informed, and committed to fostering accountability and growth within a structured, respectful, and clinically sound framework.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate weekly psychoeducational domestic violence groupsProvide individual therapy sessions for clients enrolled in the program, as clinically indicatedConduct intake assessments, including risk evaluation, psychosocial history, and treatment planningMaintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency and legal standardsMonitor client compliance and progress in coordination with legal and community partners (e.g., courts, probation)Develop and update curriculum materials consistent with evidence-based practices and gender-responsive approachesCollaborate with interdisciplinary staff and contribute to case consultationsTrack attendance, outcomes, and prepare reports as required for referrals or courtsMaintain fidelity to program structure while adapting content to participant needsEnsure ethical and culturally responsive care at all stages of treatmentQualifications:Masters degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, FMHC preferred)Experience working with offender populations, especially domestic violence perpetratorsKnowledge of trauma-informed, evidence-based practices in domestic violence interventionStrong group facilitation and individual counseling skillsFamiliarity with the criminal justice system and mandated client dynamicsExcellent organizational, communication, and documentation skillsBilingual a plusPreferred Qualities:Certification or training in Batterer Intervention Programs (BIP) Training available. Experience in crisis management and safety planningCommitment to social justiceComfortable working independently and managing a program with clinical oversight
