Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cook/Dishwasher to join our team at Taverna. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious dishes while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Your contributions will be essential in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Taverna’s recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring high-quality food handling practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support catering events by preparing food items as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent cleaning and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices.
