About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Lending Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sales and lending efforts across commercial, specialty, and consumer lending, with a focus on maintaining the existing loan portfolio and meeting production targets. This role involves nurturing the current referral base, developing new channels, and ensuring a friendly and welcoming experience for customers. The Chief Lending Officer will also provide leadership and coaching to the lending team, manage the lending pipeline, and work closely with senior management to address major issues and ensure the appropriate actions are taken for delinquent loans. Applicants for the Chief Lending Officer position at the company should have a proven track record in commercial, specialty, and consumer lending. The role requires the ability to lead and mentor a team, as well as manage the internal sales team and the lending pipeline. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and maintaining calling programs, promoting the cross-selling of bank products, and participating in community reinvestment activities. Strong communication skills, the ability to monitor asset quality, and experience in working with auditors on loan portfolio analysis are also essential. A background in commercial lending, and a deep understanding of the lending process, from application to delinquency management, are key to success in this role.
