Position Overview

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist Cardiologist to join our established team at Albany Associates in Cardiology (AAC), located in Albany, New York. We are looking for a motivated and skilled physician to contribute to our growing practice with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The position offers a balanced mix of hospital and clinic work, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive compensation.

Highlights

• Work Schedule: 50% office, 50% hospital; generally no split days (hospital or clinic, not both on the same day)
• Procedure Requirements: Minimum 2 years of electrophysiology experience, including ablation and AFib management. Watchman procedures experience is a plus.
• Practice Setting: Collaborate with a dynamic team of three EP Cardiologists: Drs. Prieto, Phang, and Sosa Suarez.
• Call Schedule: General cardiology call once a month for evenings and weekends; no specific EP call required.
• Office Coverage: Locations in Troy, Clifton Park, and Albany, with potential to expand in other regions.
• Flexible Scheduling: Options to split hospital and clinic days or dedicate full days to either setting.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 2 years in EP, including ablation and AFib procedures; Watchman training is beneficial; lead/device extraction experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to high-quality, team-oriented care.

Compensation & Benefits

St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates offers a comprehensive package:

• Starting Salary: $600,000 - $650,000
• Additional Compensation: Productivity bonuses, incentives, shift incentives, and other cash benefits. CME allowance included.
• Starting Bonus: $50,000
• Relocation Assistance: $25,000
• Time Off: Starting at 30 days, increasing to 40 days with tenure annually
• CME Allowance: $4,500 per year
