Job Description

Fresh, cheerful, and always delicious, Honey & Rye, a neighborhood bakery since 2013 , is looking for a part & full-time baristas to round out our hard-working front-of-house team!

Our baristas provide excellent customer service, serve bread & pastries, and prepare espresso drinks at our Honey & Rye location. 

Please note: we are looking for long-term fits, and are not hiring seasonal summer staff at this time.

SCHEDULE

16-32 hours per week, weekend availability required + scheduling flexibility to accommodate holiday and business needs. Open shifts can start as early as 6:00 AM, closing shifts can finish as late as 5:15 PM.

The holidays are our bread and butter. We require all hands on deck the 5 days leading up to Easter, T-give and Christmas, and open availability on Mother’s Day and Pie-Day.

COMPENSATION

$12.50/plus tips (tips avg $13/hr)

Beverage & Retail Manager

DUTIES

• Provide excellent customer service to a diverse customer base, including boxing pastries & operating a point of sale system
• Prepare espresso drinks on a manual espresso machine
• Contribute to the daily maintenance of a clean & organized cafe space

REQUIREMENTS

• Barista and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently
• Physically able to stand long periods of time & lift 50 lbs
• Dependable, flexible and team-oriented
• Commitment to executing company Mission, Vision and Values
